News on the adoption front: Jon and I are considering pursuing infant foster care, to adopt. We are still learning, and still praying, but this will be our next step.
In one day of phone calls....I have found out....the system in broken. I am so glad that I serve a God that brings restoration to the broken.

I have friends who just adopted a girl through the foster care system (they knew her before deciding to get involved in foster care) and they now are taking care of a 2-wk old boy in addition. There's a lot of love needed there. You might want to talk to Ilene or her parents about it too - not only was she working as a foster care case manager for awhile but they've almost always had foster kids.
