We have finally received our first foster placement. We currently have a 5 year old boy, let's call him CM.
CM will most likely not be here long. Just a few days.
We received the call at 4pm today and he came to our house at 9pm. Caleb LOVES him. Maybe we should have older kids, huh? Sure made for a super fun evening. They played Wii together. Now is the challenge. All 3 of the boys (Jon, Caleb and CM) need to go to sleep NOW. This is at least an hour and a half past Jon's bed time. And CM has NO desire to go to bed. Anyone know how to make a 5 year old go to sleep.I get it, he was dropped off at a new house, and needs to go to sleep. It's hard stuff. But, lil man, I AM TIRED. And you need to sleep.
So prayers for sleep please.

LOVE this! So excited for you and Jon, Kristin! One of my best friends and her husband got their first foster kiddo about two months ago and she's amazing...but man, what an emotional (good and bad) journey it it. Praying for you guys!
